"A session index is added to the filename for each file written." But this file-index is not the same as the session index!? For example, I have running queries in "Session 60", but the topten file index is "4" in my case for the same queries. Is the documentation wrong in that point?
This looks like a bug in the filter. I've opened a Jira issue for it: https://jira.mariadb.org/browse/MXS-1541
