[MariaDB 10.1](/docs/release-notes/community-server/old-releases/10.1/changes-improvements-in-mariadb-10-1.md) is the current stable series of MariaDB. It is an evolution of [MariaDB 10.0](/docs/release-notes/community-server/old-releases/10.0/changes-improvements-in-mariadb-10-0.md) with several entirely new features not found anywhere else and with backported and reimplemented features from MySQL 5.6 and 5.7.

[MariaDB 10.1.10](/docs/release-notes/community-server/old-releases/10.1/10.1.10.md) is a [***Stable (GA)***](/docs/release-notes/community-server/about/release-criteria.md) release.

### SLES 11 Support

Previous builds of [MariaDB 10.1](/docs/release-notes/community-server/old-releases/10.1/changes-improvements-in-mariadb-10-1.md) for Suse Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 11 only supported SLES 11 SP3 and SP4. Starting with this release, SLES 11 builds for x86\_64 also support SLES 11 SP1 and SP2.

### Deprecated Distributions

As per the [MariaDB Deprecation Policy](/docs/release-notes/community-server/about/platform-deprecation-policy.md), this will be the last release of [MariaDB 10.1](/docs/release-notes/community-server/old-releases/10.1/changes-improvements-in-mariadb-10-1.md) for Fedora 21.
