# MATCH AGAINST

## Syntax

```sql
MATCH (col1,col2,...) AGAINST (expr [search_modifier])
```

## Description

A special construct used to perform a fulltext search on a fulltext index.

CREATE TABLE ft_myisam(copy TEXT,FULLTEXT(copy)) ENGINE=MyISAM;
