MaxScale support for incoming connections using Proxy_protocol possible?

I'm trying to set up MaxScale behind another proxy which supports Proxy Protocol v1 and v2. The goal is to forward the IP of the source client to the DB this way:

Client -> AVI Vantage -> MaxScale -> MariaDB

I haven't found a way to allow inbound IP for Proxy Protocol in MaxScale, is that possible?

I tried, but in TCPDUMP one can read "Connection killed by MaxScale"

MaxScale does not support inbound proxy protocol connections. If you think this is a good feature request, please open a new feature request on the MariaDB Jira under the MaxScale project.
