MariaDB 10.3.6 Release Notes
Note: This page describes features in the source repository for MariaDB 10.3. There are currently no official packages or binaries available for download which contain the features. If you want to try out any of the new features described here you will need to get and compile the code yourself.
MariaDB 10.3 is the current development series of MariaDB. It is an evolution of MariaDB 10.2 with several entirely new features not found anywhere else and with backported and reimplemented features from MySQL.
Do not use non-GA releases on production systems!

Notable Changes
Notable changes of this release include:
- Added the DISKS plugin, for monitoring the disk space situation.
- TRIM, LTRIM, RTRIM, LPAD and RPAD now return NULL if returning an empty result when SQL_MODE=Oracle - MDEV-15739, MDEV-15664.
- The Information Schema Columns table now displays system versioning info in the EXTRA column - MDEV-15062
- innodb_fast_shutdown now has a new mode,
3
, which skips the rollback of connected transactions - MDEV-15832 - The max value of the max_prepared_stmt_count system variable has been increased from 1048576 to 4294967295
