Comments - MONyog Monitoring when password changed

7 years, 9 months ago Sibin AS

Currently there is no option to alert/notify on changing the user password.

But we do have option where you can enable alert mails for respective server if any of the server configuration is changed. This can be enabled by going to “server -> Edit server -> Notification settings -> Notify when server configuration changes”.

You may write to support@webyog.com if you have any queries. Sibin (Webyog)

Can we create a new monitor group and monitor the user password monitoring as the monitoring will stop if the password changes and MONyog wont be able to connect with the user

It is possible to create new monitor group and CSO’s(Custom SQL Objects) in MONyog.

But in this case, it is not possible to monitor the user password change as the password is stored in an encrypted form in MySQL. Sibin (Webyog)
