MONyog is 3rd party software - so aks them why theay are so stupid and require copy&paste instead just use the private-key file and in case it's password protected for the first usage per session ask for the password
"or authenticate by giving the public key" - SERIOUSLY? you know what the word public means? you know how private/public key are working together? obviously not!
