I'm planning to use mysqld_multi, but there are cautions against the same data directory on https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/mysqld-multi.html (as far as the dangers are concerned). And what about the the SHUTDOWN privilege? How to make sure my account has it? I was thinking about using Percona XtraBackup https://www.percona.com/blog/2014/08/26/mysqld_multi-how-to-run-multiple-instances-of-mysql/ https://hireessaywriter.org/ in local versions of educational directories. Thanks.
