Newer version of SphinxSE
I am new to MariaDB, have been doing MySQL for years, but having a problem in getting the newest Beta version of SphinxSE to compile into MySQL 5.5.13 so I am switching to MariaDB.
Is there a way to get V2 Beta installed of Sphinx instead of V0.9.9 in MDB 5.2 to be able to use some of the capabilities?

MariaDB 5.5.21 is now updated to use SphinxSE 2.0.4.
If this works well and there is a demand for it, we will consider back-porting 2.0.4 to MariaDB 5.3
