As 2.0 is still beta, we will add it first to MariaDB 5.3 and then backport it to MariaDB 5.2 when we are sure it's stable.
Can someone tell me what version of Sphinx made it into 5.3 Beta? I can't find it anywhere.
I can't see where SPhinxSE was included in Beta 5.3?? Does that sound right? Alan
SphinxSE is in the plugins folder. On my Ubuntu box the location is:
/usr/lib/mysql/plugin/ha_sphinx.soSee the About SphinxSE page for instructions on using
INSTALL PLUGINto perform the one-time install procedure.They never did make Version 1 be a non beta, so hopefully eventually they will call 2.01 a real release. Thanks Alan
