noinstall package for MariaDB(such as XAMPP, formerly known as LAMP)
At present, I am using MySQL through XAMPP. As you are aware, I am sure, that XAMPP doesn't require ANY installation. Just copy & paste & start.
Is there any way to use MariaDB in place of MySQL in XAMPP? (Maybe replace MySQL folder containing the binaries with MariaDB folder? If yes, from where to get the noinstall folder for MariaDB?)

Binary tar.gz files are available to download. I don't know if they'll work as-is with XAMPP or not.
You could also try an alternative like http://wpn-xm.org/
