It would be nice to have
CREATE ROLE IF NOT EXISTS
Best regards David
This has existed since MariaDB 10.1.3 - see CREATE ROLE#IF NOT EXISTS.
For some reason I can't see the databases that I have access to when I run the "show databases" command. This only occurs when I have grants through a role, when I give a user direct permissions to the database I can see it (yes my current_role is set properly as this example indicates).
It could be a bug. If you can create a complete repeatable test case, please post it at jira.mariadb.org
For some reason I can only grant roles from localhost. I am able to grant all other privileges but roles from any host.
