# SHOW FUNCTION STATUS

## Syntax

```sql
SHOW FUNCTION STATUS
    [LIKE 'pattern' | WHERE expr]
```

## Description

This statement is similar to [SHOW PROCEDURE STATUS](https://mariadb.com/docs/server/reference/sql-statements/administrative-sql-statements/show/show-procedure-status) but for [stored functions](https://mariadb.com/docs/server/server-usage/stored-routines/stored-functions).

The LIKE clause, if present on its own, indicates which function names to match.

The `WHERE` and `LIKE` clauses can be given to select rows using more general conditions, as discussed in [Extended SHOW](https://mariadb.com/docs/server/reference/sql-statements/administrative-sql-statements/show/extended-show).

The [information\_schema.ROUTINES](https://mariadb.com/docs/server/reference/system-tables/information-schema/information-schema-tables/information-schema-routines-table) table contains more detailed information.

## Examples
