# SIN

## Syntax

SIN(X)
```

## Description

Returns the sine of X, where X is given in radians.

## Examples

SELECT SIN(1.5707963267948966);
+-------------------------+
| SIN(1.5707963267948966) |
+-------------------------+
|                       1 |
+-------------------------+

SELECT SIN(PI());
+----------------------+
| SIN(PI())            |
+----------------------+
