Please include Spider installation instructions on this page for packages where /usr/share/mysql/install_spider.sql is not included, which was the case for us using MariaDB-server.x86_64 10.5.12-1.el7.centos. In our case we had to enable it using the following, which we couldn't find documented anywhere:

INSTALL PLUGIN spider SONAME 'ha_spider.so';

After further digging around we found

Linking the above here would be useful if installing Spider for 10.5.
