Does STRICT_TRANS_TABLES also set ERROR_FOR_DIVISION_BY_ZERO, NO_ZERO_DATE, and NO_ZERO_IN_DATE, as it does for MySQL?

No, those changes were made in MySQL 5.7, not in MariaDB.
