Are you sure that you would benefit from query cache?
Anyway, I don't see any problems with query cache + InnoDB, except that query cache is NOT transactions aware. But this can be a "problem" only if your applications often use ROLLBACK.
Hi, Thanks for your answer. On a server we have enabled query_cache_size with innoDB/XtraDB we have seen a performance increase, despite most suggestions to the contrary.
