DO espr [, espr] ...
Spiegazione
DO esegue le espressioni senza restituire alcun risultato. Per molti aspetti, DO è un'abbreviazione di SELECT espr, ..., ma, se non si desidera leggere il risultato, ha il vantaggio di essere leggermente più veloce.
DO è utile soprattutto con le funzioni che hanno effetti collaterali, come RELEASE_LOCK().
