New Features in this Release
Performance option for MariaDB Platform for Distributed SQL supporting the deployment of MariaDB Xpand in a single zone and/or without MariaDB MaxScale. If you are interested in this feature, please contact us.
New Transactional, Analytical, and HTAP services provisioned do not require database users to create and grant privileges to an additional
10.%user account for MaxScale.
Updates to SkySQL User Interfaces
Adds option of disabling data-in-transit encryption when launching services on AWS. MariaDB strongly recommends encrypting connections to SkySQL services when not connecting over a private link or VPC peered network.
RAM charts in SkySQL Monitoring separate the container buffer and cache sizes from the amount of used memory.
