Exciting Group of Speakers for MySQL & Cloud Solutions Day, Friday, April 26th in Santa Clara

Agenda includes speakers from Calpont, Codership/Galera, Craigslist, MariaDB, SkySQL and the OpenStack Foundation

Today, SkySQL and MariaDB jointly announce an exciting lineup of speakers for their MySQL and Cloud Solutions Day on Friday, April 26th, at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. This year’s agenda will feature database and cloud tutorials, as well as keynotes, featuring speakers from Calpont, Codership, Craigslist, MariaDB, SkySQL and the OpenStack Foundation.

The MySQL and Cloud Solutions Day, which will take place immediately following Percona’s MySQL User Conference and Expo 2013, features two technical tracks: one focused on the MySQL database and related technologies, and a second on best practices for deploying applications in the Cloud. Attendees can learn how to adapt their MySQL applications in the cloud. They can also receive free, hands-on help with their MySQL or MariaDB database installations from expert SkySQL & MariaDB Consultants in the SkySQL Solutions Lounge, which will be open throughout the event.

View talks from last year’s event to get a better feel for it.

As well, the event will feature talks from Monty Widenius, the father of the MySQL & MariaDB databases and Patrik Sallner, SkySQL CEO, who will share their insights on the current and future trends pertaining to MySQL, MariaDB 10.0, and the Cloud.

And like last year’s event, this year’s Solutions Day will be capped off with SkySQL and MariaDB’s 2nd Annual Biergarten! (Read: Free beer!!)

The MySQL & Cloud Solutions Day – featuring keynotes and tutorials from industry visionaries, the SkySQL Solutions Lounge, lunch, and Biergarten – is absolutely free to attendees.

Additional community suggestions and input on the event’s content are more than welcome. Those interested in submitting ideas or sponsoring the MySQL® and Cloud Database Solutions Day, please email events@skysql.com.
