CHARACTER SET problem in ColumnStore?

I'm trying to create this table:

CREATE TABLE `table1` ( `name` char(3) CHARACTER SET latin1 COLLATE latin1_general_cs NOT NULL DEFAULT '') ENGINE=Columnstore;

ERROR 1178 (42000): The storage engine for the table doesn't support The syntax or the data type(s) is not supported by Columnstore. Please check the Columnstore syntax guide for supported syntax or data types.

Any idea why this is not working?

BR, Daniel

Column level character set settings and the collate option are not currently supported. Instance level (see UTF8 section or table level, for example:

CREATE TABLE table1 ( name char(3) NOT NULL DEFAULT '')default CHARACTER SET latin1 engine=columnstore;
