Distributions Which Include MariaDB

The following distributions include MariaDB in their package repositories. For these you can use the distribution's management system to install MariaDB.
- openSUSE UNSTABLE — MariaDB 5.2 and 5.5 are available in the UNSTABLE repository
- openSUSE STABLE — MariaDB 5.1 is available in the STABLE repository
- ArchLinux (AUR MariaDB)
- FreeBSD — MariaDB 5.2 is available in the ports tree and the FreeBSD Manual has instructions on Installing Applications: Packages and Ports
Mac OS X Distributions
- Homebrew. A good blog about Homebrew can be found here. If you have homebrew installed, you can install MariaDB by doing:
