Error establishing a database connection

Hello,

This is the first time I use this forum so I hope to post my message in the right place!

I modify the code of my base sql and since more way to go neither on the front nor on the backend. The response of the server is: Database Error: Unable to connect to the database: Could not connect to MySQL.

Can anyone tell me what I can / can do to fix this.
