MariaDB responds with -> and refuses to respond to any other commands
I have MariaDB installed onto my VPS but every time i try to run a command it would keep responding with '->' then when it comes to typing another command it will completely ignore the command and respond with '->', i have to constantly have to exit PuTTY and restart the session again and it still happens. So far found no solution, probably going to uninstall MariaDB completely before long. Anyone know a suitable solution to fix the problem? Thanks.

It looks like you didn't add a delimiter (defaults to ; ) at the end of the SQL.
