Hi!
I still see the connector available for download: http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/mysql_connector
The documentation is still here: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/connector-ooo.html (and from what I can see it also is documented with MySQL 5.5)
Further documentation is here: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Database/Drivers/MySQL_Native/1.0
And there's more on the Forge here: http://forge.mysql.com/wiki/Connector_OpenOffice
I'm pretty sure it will work with OpenOffice.org and MariaDB. It should also work with binary compatible LibreOffice.
Have you tried it and realised that it does not work?
Thanks
Thanks for your comment. I have downloaded the connector. When trying to add it through extension manager I get an error message stating that "mysqlc.uno.so" is missing, while it actually DOES exist in the mentioned directory.
