STOP SLAVE [tipo_thread [, tipo_thread] ... ] tipo_thread: IO_THREAD | SQL_THREAD
Arresta i thread slave. Per eseguire STOP SLAVE è necessario disporre del privilegio SUPER.
Come START SLAVE, anche questa opzione può essere utilizzata con le opzioni IO_THREAD e SQL_THREAD per nominare il thread o i thread da arrestare.
STOP SLAVE attende finché tutti i gruppi di eventi della replica che hanno effetto su una o più tabelle non transazionali abbiano terminato l'esecuzione (se vi sono tali gruppi), o finché l'utente esegue un'istruzione KILL QUERY oppure KILL CONNECTION.
