Overview

MariaDB Shell is a command-line tool that unifies troubleshooting and administration for MariaDB database products.

MariaDB Shell 22.10.3 was released on 2022-10-25. This release is a Technical Preview and should not be used in production environments.

Compatibility with MariaDB Client (mariadb) commands is provided.
Compatibility with mariadb-admin commands is provided by the system sub-command.
Full Internal System Histograms (FISH) are provided by the fish sub-command.
The capability to populate the database's in-memory cache with a table or schema is provided by the warm sub-command.
The capability to pre-slice tables in an Xpand cluster is provided by the pre-slice sub-command.
Multiple output formats are supported, including: classic, modern, JSON, SQL*Plus, CSV, XML, and HTML
