Overview

MariaDB SkySQL supports single zone deployment as an option:

• This feature is not enabled by default. By default, nodes within supported topologies are deployed in multiple zones for added fault tolerance.

• When enabled, nodes within supported topologies are deployed in one zone for improved communication latency while limiting fault tolerance.

• Single Zone Deployment is available to Power Tier customers.
