# mysqlbinlog

`mysqlbinlog` is a client tool which is called [`mariadb-binlog`](/docs/server/clients-and-utilities/logging-tools/mariadb-binlog/using-mariadb-binlog.md) now. It can still be accessed under its original name via a symlink in Linux, or an alternate binary in Windows.
