Are you on XP by any chance? We switched compiler, in course of moving the build servers recently, from an (already unsupported) Visual Studio 10 to a newer Visual Studio 13. I think the newer compiler dropped XP support, which, after 2 years after the end-of-life for the OS, seems reasonable.
Thanks for the answer. This is right I am a dinosaur and still use XP. Unfortunately, I also have reasons for it.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to support OSes which already past their end of life (as noted in https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/deprecation-policy) . I updated the above document with XP information.
Sorry for the breakage and thanks for noticing the fact that we no longer run on XP.
This also concerns Windows Server 2003
Also filed a bug https://jira.mariadb.org/browse/MDEV-10071
Thanks! Added 2003 Server to the above document as well
