Client library usage example

Hi,

Is there a page in the knowledge base showing a basic example of the client library usage ? I'm quite a newbie on this topic. I just downloaded and un-tgzed the archive, then executed the commands 'cmake .' and 'make'. I created a simple C code to use it, but my #include <mysql.h> line understandably fails because it can't access it, I guess there is some linking to do.
