How to get C++connetor to work with mariadb server?

Following the official documentatation for installing the C++Connector and using the task.cpp exmple aslo from the official mariadb page, i can not get g++ compiler to work with the libmaria-dev libary or something in that direction. For spesific error-code's see my stackoverflow post:

What am i doing wrong, or is something wrong with the library?
