I don't know about the meaning of pma user, but after the quick search I see it is related to phpmyadmin, although the latest documentation doesn't say a word about. However it should have some privileges already defined.
In the lack of information and example in your question, I think it is safe that you login with root and delete that user if possible, or give specific rights needed to that user before hand or make sure which user you are using to make a connection.
