NEXT VALUE FOR sequence

or

NEXTVAL(sequence_name)

or in Oracle mode (SQL_MODE=ORACLE)

sequence_name.nextval

NEXT VALUE FOR is ANSI SQL syntax while NEXTVAL() is PostgreSQL syntax.
