In the INSERTING section, the last sentence reads: The implicit defaults are an empty string for string types, and the zero value for date and time types.
It should mention the numeric types as well, as demonstrated in the associated example. E.g. The implicit defaults are an empty string for string types, and the zero value for numeric or date and time types.
Thanks for the suggestion, this has been added.
