No - MDEV-19294 tablespaces manipulation is getting removed. There is no plan to remove frm files. There is a bunch of working going on for 10.6 in MDEV-17567 to make them atomic.
What use case are you trying to satisfy (apart from being like MySQL-8.0)?
Hi, The our case is related with the limitation in AWS RDS MariaDB when we have huge number of tables/files per instance. Thanks.
Regarding our case we have one AWS RDS MariaDB instance and ~ 10000 schemas in each schema we have about 270 tables. Do you have any tips on how to optimize such a DB system? Thanks
