Overview
Robust server and service monitoring features are included in the Unified Portal.

Metrics
Database server (node) and service (cluster) metrics are collected automatically. The metrics collected are optimized for MariaDB databases.
Summary Information
A high-level summary of service and server status is presented on the Unified Portal Dashboard. Mouseover on each element provides fine-grained detail. Click any element to access expanded monitoring detail.
Available summary information:
Status indicator icon
"Current SQL Commands" gauge
"CPU Load" gauge
"QPS" (Queries Per Second) gauge
Active Alert Count gauge
Xpand Global Replication status (when feature is enabled)
Monitoring Dashboards
To access expanded Monitoring dashboards:
Log in to the Unified Portal.
From the Dashboard, click the service name of the desired service.
Choose the "Monitoring" tab (the default).
Dashboards and gauges are topology-specific.
Alerts
Policies (alerting rules) identify "warning" and "critical" events within status and metrics.

Notifications
Service Alerts are communicated using Notifications.
By default, notification occurs in the Unified Portal.
Optionally, Notification Channels can be configured for email-based delivery of notifications.
