SkySQL vs. the Competition
SkySQL is database-as-a-service (DBaaS) reimagined to meet the strategic needs of enterprises in a cloud-native world. It is the first and only DBaaS built on Kubernetes to support multi- and inter-cloud deployments, store data on block storage for transactions and/or object storage for analytics, and use machine learning to identify workload patterns and make them available for visual exploration and analysis.

The SkySQL prices above include enterprise support. AWS enterprise support costs the greater of $15,000/month or 10% of the monthly usage cost, so the AWS RDS prices above include a 10% surcharge. Azure enterprise support is not based on monthly usage, so it is not included. GCP enterprise support costs $150,000/year + 4% of the monthly usage cost, so the Google Cloud SQL prices above include a 4% surcharge.
