MariaDB ServerFest comes to Bengaluru following OpenSource India! This is the opportunity for current and future members of the MariaDB Server ecosystem to interface with the developers of MariaDB Server and meet the staff behind MariaDB Foundation!

This event offers 2 tracks:

MariaDB User Track

Join us to learn all about MariaDB Server, including:

• A review of classic MariaDB Server features which distinguishes us from the rest.
• A deep-dive into the new features of MariaDB 11.4
• What makes MariaDB Server similar to and different from MySQL, Postgres and Oracle.
• How to migrate to MariaDB.
• An introduction to MariaDB Vector, which enables the embedding and search of AI vector data where it should be – in your normal, open source relational database.

MariaDB Contributor “Hackathon” Track

• Gain essential knowledge to contribute to the MariaDB Server codebase.
• Participate in the hackathon to make direct code contributions, with key reviewers and senior MariaDB developers available for guidance.
• Propose your own features while also having the chance to showcase your skills as a new developer, potentially gaining entry into the MariaDB developer community.

MariaDB Foundation is excited about interacting with the Bengaluru and overall Indian developer base, both users and developers, current and potential new ones.
