These terms and conditions can be referenced to from product and service contracts made with MariaDB.
MariaDB Subscription Agreement applies to a Customer purchasing MariaDB Products and Services from MariaDB. When the Customer purchases from a MariaDB Partner, this agreement applies to the Customer’s use of MariaDB Products and Services, and means the End User License Agreement (EULA), ref. Section 9.15 of MariaDB Subscription Agreement.
MariaDB Subscription Services Policy
MariaDB MaxScale License Terms apply to Customers that purchased Subscription Services and use MariaDB MaxScale version 25.01 or later version. These license terms allow Customers to use MariaDB MaxScale for their business operations including non-production and production use during the subscription term.
MariaDB MaxScale License Terms for Commercial Use apply to Customers that purchased Subscription Services and use MariaDB MaxScale version 24.02 or earlier. These license terms allow Customers to use MariaDB MaxScale for their business operations including non-production and production use during the subscription term.
If you did not purchase Subscription Services or your subscription term expired, you may make non-production use of MariaDB MaxScale version 24.02 or earlier according to Business Source License v1.1 (BSL). The Additional Use Grant under BSL permits a “limited production use” that means when your application uses MariaDB MaxScale with a total of less than three server instances in production. For exact details please refer to the license text that accompanies the respective MariaDB MaxScale version.
